Kill-Asthma

Although Asthma is one of the most frequent repiratory diseases with more than 235Mio patients worldwide, little is known about its causes and development and the diagnose is still difficult. Especially for children, an early detection of the disease could be potentially lifesaving.
This project aims for the development of an innovative diagnostic method. By analyzing blood cells, a simple and fast technique will be developed, which will allow not only for the early detection of the disease but also for an efficient monitoring of the therapy of Asthma patients.
